*Q: What is DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing?*
A: DTF printing is a process where designs are printed onto a special film and then transferred onto garments using heat and pressure. This method allows for vibrant, durable, high-quality prints on any color garment and fabric material.

Here's an overview of the DTF printing process from start to finish: 
1. Design Creation - The process begins with creating or obtaining the digital design that will be printed.  The design is then prepared in a digital format, usually as a high-resolution PNG, JPEG, AI, or PSD file.
2. Printing the Design - The special DTF film is loaded into the printer. Using a DTF printer, the design is printed onto the film. This printer uses water-based pigment inks and can produce vibrant, high-quality images.
3. Applying the Adhesive Powder - After printing, a special adhesive powder is applied to the wet ink on the film. The powder ensures the design will adhere to the fabric. The film is then shaken to remove any excess powder, leaving only the adhesive on the printed areas. 
4. Curing the Design - The film with the adhesive powder is placed in a curing oven or heat press for a short period to melt the powder. This creates a bond between the ink and the adhesive.
5. Transferring the Design - The cured film is placed on the garment and then positioned precisely with the printed side facing the fabric. Your design will be held in place with heat tape to ensure that it does not move during the pressing process. A heat press is used to transfer the design from the film to the garment. This involves applying heat and pressure for a specified amount of time, which activates the adhesive and binds the design to the fabric.
6. Finishing Touches - After pressing, the film is allowed to cool slightly before being peeled off, leaving the design on the garment. The final garment is inspected for any defects and to ensure the print quality meets the desired standards and then pressed again using a Teflon sheet to make the DTF as soft as possible.
7. Final Product - The finished garment is then folded and packaged, ready for to go out for delivery to the customer.

A: We can print on a wide variety of garments, including t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, and more. DTF printing is extremely versatile and works great on both light and dark fabrics, as well as different material types such as cotton, polyester, spandex and other blends.
*Q: How long does a design last?*
A: If you take great care of your garment, it will likely last the lifespan of your garment. DTF is extremely durable and pliable. Itcan be pulled and stretched without altering the design.
*Q: What does it feel like?*
A: DTF typically has a smooth and soft feel due to the high-quality printing process. The design itself is vibrant and slightly raised, giving it a subtle texture that is pleasant to touch. The print is flexible and durable, ensuring it moves comfortably with the fabric without cracking or peeling. Overall, a DTF shirt provides a comfortable wear with a unique and detailed design that stands out both visually and physically.

A: Yes, you can! We welcome custom designs and will work with you to ensure your vision is brought to life. If your file is not compible, we will do our best to re-create a design that is extremely similar to what you are looking for.

A: We accept a variety of file formats, including PNG, JPEG, AI, and PSD. For the best results, please ensure your design is high resolution (at least 300 DPI).
*Q: What is the turnaround time for an order?*
A: Our standard turnaround time is 7-10 business days from the date of order confirmation. If you have a specific deadline, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

A: No, we do not have a minimum order quantity. Whether you need a single custom piece or a bulk order, we would love to help you!
*Q: How do I care for garments printed with DTF?*
A: For the best results, we recommend washing your garments inside out in cold water and tumble dry on a low setting. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, and DO NOT iron directly on the print.
